A message from Gregory the Grumpy
Hey! I'm Gregory and you've caught me on a bad day. Actually, to be honest, I've got to admit that I seem to have a lot of bad days. Things just don't seem to go the way I'd like.
For example, yesterday my Dad finally took me to see the Yankees. We got to the stadium and there was a long line just to get in. By the time we got to our seats, the announcer was already naming the line-up. Wouldn't you know it? Derek Jeter wasn't playing. I really wanted to see him play since he's my favorite Yankee. So there I am at Yankee stadium and no Jeter. Is it any surprise that the Yankees didn't win the game?
On the other hand, baseball is more fun than school. Our teacher keeps saying to me, "Gregory, sit still and finish your work." Well, maybe I would if she came up with more fun things to do. Instead we're supposed to sit quietly and read this big book on South America. Talk about boring!
More about me
Gregory's temperament is high-maintenance. Gregory often has problems finishing assignments because he is low in task persistence. He is also high in motor activity so he wiggles constantly. Gregory also reacts strongly and negatively to change or stress because his temperament is high in negative reactivity. On the positive side, Gregory is honest. He is comfortable making decisions and express his opinions, even when others might disagree.
